Low-carb Pizza

Whilst browsing pinterest (my other new found obsession) during my night class I found yet another genius idea for a low-carb favorite using cauliflower. Now, I know what you’re thinking, cauliflower? And pizza? EW.  And I was really skeptical at first. But holy smokes this pizza is delicious! Ill never go back to the carbage version again.

Here is the crust recipe I used:

The toppings we used were:

  • green pepper
  • onions
  • mushrooms
  • thin ham slices
  • sweet turkey Italian sausage
  • shredded mozzarella
  • shredded sharp cheddar

I would definitely make it again and it was husband-approved. I think I would change a couple things but only 1 really related to the actual pizza:

  • use a pizza pan/pizza stone
  • use foil
  • find a way to make the crust more crispy without having burned looking edges

Hope someone will be brave enough to try this because it is certainly worth it! Delicious!
